Nail Fungus Treatment – A highly effective, non-surgical, laser treatment that can kill pesky and unsightly nail fungus infections. Fungal laser treatments are able to destroy the fungal cells right at the source and allow the nail tissue to regenerate and resume healthy growth in a fast and an effective way. Fungal infections can spread very easily and their spores are can withstand very aggressive treatments which is why many fungal products are not very successful and why laser treatment is a great solution.
Nail Fungus Treatment
We use very specific light based IPL (Intense Pulse Light) to treat and kill fungal nail conditions. By destroying the fungal cells, the nail tissue can regenerate and the nail can heal and get reattached to it while growing naturally. IPL has no negative effect on the skin or the healthy nails and does not require anesthesia. It is non-surgical and there is no downtime or effect on your activity following the treatment. IPL treatment of fungus takes much less time than the classic treatments.
Treatment duration can take up to 30 minutes for both feet or hands.
While a single treatment may be enough, a series of 3-4 treatments, spaced 4 – 6 weeks apart, is recommended to achieve optimal results. As the nails resume healthy growth, they will grow in clear. You will start to see results in 2 – 3 months. Nails grow slowly – the big toenail can take up to a year to grow from bottom to top. While you may not see a significant improvement for several months, you should see a gradual growth of clear nail and achieve complete clearance in about a year. You can re-apply nail polish after treatment to disguise nail fungus until the healthy, clear nail grows in.
